#TimelessThursday Video of the Week: Wu-Tang Clan – “C.R.E.A.M.”

Twenty years ago The Wu-Tang Clan dropped their first album, Enter The Wu-Tang 36 Chambers, and in doing so solidified their place in music history. Their impact transcends hip hop as their impression can be found throughout various levels of pop culture. The first single from the monumental album, was C.R.E.A.M., which as Method Man breaks down in the hook is an acronym for Cash Rules Everything Around Me. Subsequently, the term cream is now widely known as slang for money! Books could be written about this rap group detailing their global domination in the 90′s and cult-like following which still exists to this day. Anyone who has ever seen Wu-Tang live in concert knows of the energy the 9 MCs from ‘Shaolin’ create with their powerful stage presence and performance.
