Mayweather calls out Pacquiao for May 5th bout on Facebook and Twitter

Floyd Mayweather recently took to Twitter and Facebook to call out Manny Pacquiao for a fight that could happen on May 5th of this year.

As most of you know, Floyd’s recent prison sentence was suspended until later this summer so he could fulfill contractual obligations for the tentative fight date. He hasn’t wasted any time letting Pac-man know he’s ready to rock after the judge gave him some breathing room either. Take a look at Money Mayweather’s social shots:

I’m no different than the rest of the boxing fans in the world, I want to see this fight for sure. I’ve been a Mayweather fan for a long time now, and would pick him to win this fight; but I have to wonder…why now, Money?

Is it because Pacquiao looked suspect in his last fight against Juan Marquez and barely escaped with a decision. Or is it because Floyd just wants to prove to all of us, again, that he is pound for pound the best around?

Only time will tell, let’s hope these two are in the ring May 5th.
