Drake gets more Aaliyah ink, plans to finish High School this summer

Yes, “more,” in case you didn’t already know Drake’s love for Aaliyah inspired him to get a tattoo of her face on his back.  Drake added to that tribute as he made another trip to his tattoo artist to get a second symbolic tattoo for her.  On top of the track featuring Aaliyah that he plans to release during the OVO Fest in Toronto, this proves Drake is more than a #1 fan.  Is it too much?  Maybe, but it’s Aaliyah…I’ll let him live.

You will now see “416″ tatted on Drake’s rib cage, for his hometown area code.  The defining features of the “4″ are hollowed out so that you can also see the number “1″, in turn creating “116″ which is to rep Aaliyah’s birthdate of January 16th.

During an interview with NowToronto, Drake also dropped some other news about what he will be doing this summer:  getting his high school diploma.

“I’m actually spending my summer graduating high school. That’s my main focus after OVO Fest. I only have one credit left, and I’m really excited about that.”

I’ll admit, I had no idea Drake didn’t finish high school…but I guess if I were getting Degrassi bread, I would’ve skipped that part of my life too.  Congrats on finishing up, let the young people know!
